Raymond Kadlecek passed away on December 10, 2017. An avid hunter and lover of the outdoors, he was in his element and doing what he loved.
He was preceded in death by his father Alfons and mother Mary, brothers, Bobby and Michael and sister, Georgia. He is survived by daughter, Amanda, granddaughter, Sophia, sisters, Agnes, Jeanne, Louise, Mary Jo, and Dorothy, and brother, Joey. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and best friends whom also held a special place with him.
Raymond was a generous and kind man who was always lending a helping hand. He cherished every day and made the most of them. After retiring from the Port of Corpus Christi in 2012, he spent his time golfing with his cotton buddies, taking his annual canoeing or hunting trip, and could be seen biking around his neighborhood. He also enjoyed taking trips to visit his family out of state. Sundays became his day with his granddaughter and he was always ready for whatever adventure she brought. He cherished those visits with her.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his honor.
