Rosie L. Moseley, age 88, passed away peacefully in her home on September 8, 2017. She was born on November 25, 1928 in Wharton, Texas.
Rosie had a long career in banking and retired as Sr. Vice President of Texas Commerce Bank. She also volunteered many rewarding hours at Spohn Hospital.
She is survived by her son: Joe F. Moseley, Jr., his wife Nell, daughters, Rose Marie Herber and Lynette Earl, grandchildren, Joe F. Moseley, III., Meagan and Sarah Moseley, Bryan Capps, his wife Dee and Michael Capps Scott and Holly Earl, great-grandchildren, Hunter, Joseph and Colton Capps. She is also survived by her sister, Marie Suggs, brothers, John, his wife Audrey, Joseph, his wife Kay Hominick, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Nolan and Mary Wisnieski Hominick Birmingham, her beloved husband, Joe F. Moseley, Sr., brothers, Willie, his wife Lottie, Sam, his wife Doris, Pete, his wife Ruby, brother-in-law, Bob Suggs and son-in-law, C.W. Herber.
Rosie was dearly loved by her family and her loyal dog, Lucy. Special thanks to her caregiver, Lena, for devotion and loving care.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
