Every now and then you meet someone like Mrs. Smith, she greeted you with a hug every time she saw you, She made you feel loved and very special . She sent hand written birthday cards through the mail ,, the ones that let you know she put thought into the card and she took the time to send them.. this simple act brought myself and I know many others such joy,
She was humble, kind and compassionate. I count myself very blessed to have known her and I will remember her with fondness and admiration always.

Dearest Sidney, Deborah and Billy,
Our hearts are profoundly saddened by the passing of Darlyne. She truly was such a blessing to anyone who knew her. I will always be grateful for always remembering our birthdays and anniversary with a beautiful card, often times hand made, with such a lovely sentiment inside.
Vivienne so appreciated all the help with genealogical searches for family members; something she hopes that Deborah will carry the mantle now.
Her memory will always be kept alive in our hearts for being a loving and generous person; certainly a legacy to her children and grandchildren.
Sidney, it's hard to imagine a more devoted husband than you. Thank you for all the wonderful care you gave her right up to the end. A blessing to be sure.
