Ella G. McMinn, 84, passed away October 14, 2017. She was born on March 20, 1933 to Mr. & Mrs. Guadalupe Garcia in Mercedes, Texas. She was raised in Brownsville, Texas.
She married her husband, Sabino Flores, of thirty one years in June of 1965. Ella was loving mother. She enjoyed bingo, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. Ella will always be remembered for the love she had for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ella is preceded in death by her mother, Isabel Cantu Trevino, father, Guadalupe Garcia, husband Sabino Flores, son-in-law, Julian Lopez Jr. and grandson, Billy Trace Ponce.
Ella is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Bill) Ponce, Cynthia Pina-Lopez, and Barbara (Michael) Gonzales, son, James (Amy) McMinn, and seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Seaside Reid Chapel. A Rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m. that same afternoon. Interment to follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
