I am so sorry for your loss of your dear loved one. I have personally found much comfort in the scriptures when losing a loved one. One of my favorite verses is in 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4 it states in part " .... the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. " We can gain so much comfort from the Bible and the promises God gives in reguards to the future. Revelation 21:3,4 gives us that hope very clear it says in part "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and DEATH will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Death will be no more its a promise from God and we know that everything he promises will come true. What about the ones that have already passed away in death? I would love to share more scriptures with you on the promises of what God will do for mankind in the future and the hope to see our dead loved ones again.
