I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one in death. Despite the fact I have never met Richard I am sure he is deeply missed. We all are effected by the enemy ,death. But the Bible gives us a grand hope for the future. .Revelation 21:3,4 states in part, "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and DEATH will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore, THe former things have passed away. " It mentions death being done away will and we know when God promises something it will come true isn't that comforting!! But what about your loved ones that have already died?? The Bible mentions what happens too them too in Acts 24:15 "...which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection...." When Jesus was here on earth he resurrected ones from the dead here to earth. It is a great hope we have to be reunited with our dead loved ones again.
