I am so sorry for your families loss . I unfortunately did not know your family member but we are all effected in some way by the death of a loved one. The Bible gives us great comfort when we lose a dear loved one in death . My favorite scripture is 2Corinthans 1:3,4 which states in part"... and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." There is a scripture in Revelation that talks about death being done away with but what about those who have already died? They are never left out Act 24:15 "... which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection..." It is a marvelous hope we have to be reunited with our love ones in the future.
