I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved. All of us are effected by the "last enemy, death"(1Corinthians 15:26)
The Bible provides so much comfort for us when we lose a dear loved one. Revelation 21:4 states " And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and DEATH will be no more,neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." A world without death is hard to imagine. But what hope do we have for our dear loved ones that have passed away in death?
